| The skin in the treated area is usually red and slightly swollen. This inflamamation normally lasts at least 20 minutes, sometimes longer on more sensitive skin. A frequently asked question is, "Can I go back to work after the treatment?" The only answer I can give is that people do it all the time, every day. In many cases, the redness is nearly gone by the time they return to the work place. That having been said, I don't usually advise having a treatment immediately before a big function, just as a wedding. Since the skin doesn't necessarily react the same each time, it is best not to push your luck when it comes to an important occassion.
